FORTUS 200mc System Overview
Developed as an affordable, small build-envelope system that manufactures stable thermoplastic parts in durable ABSplus. Combined with powerful Insight software this compact system can produce parts more advanced than any other 3D printer.
System Features:
- Parts are produced within an accuracy of +/- .010 inch or +/- .0020 inch per inch whichever is greater (+/- .254 mm or +/- .0020 mm per mm whichever is greater).*
- Resolution of surface finish down to 0.007 inch (0.178 mm) layer thickness
- Standard build envelope
- 8 x 8 x 12 inches (203 x 203 x 305mm)
- Single material ABSplus thermoplastic (multiple color)
- Ideal for small to mid size parts
- Small system footprint for easy portability and small space requirement
- Almost no user maintenance required
- Most affordable Fortus 3D Production System

Throughput Comparison:
Build Material:
ABSplus thermoplasticCAD file to part in just three steps.
Fortus systems manufacture real parts in just three steps, unlike some competitive processes, that have up to 16 steps.
- Pre-Process - Load the part’s STL file (CAD data) into Insight - pre-processing software.
- Manufacture Parts - System builds part in thermoplastic material one layer at a time on precise paths.
- Remove Supports - Remove temporary support structures in a hands-free soluble support tank.
* Note: Accuracy is geometry dependent. Achievable accuracy specification derived from statistical data at 95% dimensional yield.

ABSplus thermoplastic (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene):
- Environmentally stable - no appreciable warpage, shrinkage or moisture absorption
- Up to 40 percent stronger than standard Stratasys ABS material
Support Material:
Soluble supports are simply dissolved in a water-based solution, resulting in a part with smooth surface finish and fine details intact. No hand processing is required.
Material Loading:
Two auto - load cartridges, 62 cubic inches each, one for the thermoplastic build material and one for the soluble support material.
